STAMP DEDICATIONS

The United States Postal Service officially released the Go For Broke Soldiers Stamp on June 3, 2021, and posted an 8-minute USPS stamp release video on their social media. USPS allowed Stamp Our Story Coalition partners across the country to organize small stamp ceremonies beginning on June 4th.

Stamp Our Story Coalition partners volunteered to conduct ceremonies in the following locations in June 2021:

Los Angeles, California

San Francisco, California

Sacramento, California

Honolulu, Hawaii

Kauai, Hawaii

Houston, Texas

Portland, Oregon

Ontario, Oregon

Minidoka NHS, Idaho

The local committees created both in-person and virtual programs. Seven of the programs that were videotaped are provided below.

The Stamp Our Story Founders and Committee wish to sincerely thank ALL of the many volunteers across the nation who helped make these ceremonies a reality. Each is unique and wonderful in its own way, and they bring honor to and help preserve the American legacy of the Nisei men and women who served during World War II.
